Eric Barksdale is an experienced chapter 7 and chapter 13, bankruptcy lawyer. He currently represents individuals seeking relief in bankruptcy. Mr. Barksdale has been practicing law in Florida for over 30 years. He graduated from the University of Florida, College of Law, in 1989, following which he first accepted a position as a criminal prosecuting attorney in Brevard County, Florida, where he gained valuable litigation experience.
Mr. Barksdale has practiced bankruptcy law in Tampa, Florida, since 1991 while being involved in thousands of bankruptcy cases. He has represented many individual consumer bankruptcy debtors in chapter 7 and 13 cases, and also creditors and bankruptcy trustees, those who administer bankruptcy cases. Mr. Barksdale’s bankruptcy practice has been consumer-focused since 2017 when he opened his own law office.
